1. Terms of Service
By accessing this website or hiring Four Seasons Outdoor Services (“Company,” “we,” “our”), you agree to the following terms.
All services including landscaping, land clearing, skid steer work, fence installation, tree services, and seasonal cleanup are subject to written estimates and signed service agreements.
Pricing is based on visible site conditions at time of estimate. If hidden debris, rock, roots, concrete, or unforeseen conditions are discovered, pricing may be adjusted with client approval.
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
2. Licensing & Compliance
Four Seasons Outdoor Services operates in accordance with West Virginia Contractor Licensing Law (WV Code §21-11).
Excavation and digging services comply with West Virginia One Call Law (WV Code §24C-1). Public utilities will be located through 811 prior to excavation. Clients are responsible for identifying and marking all private utilities including irrigation lines, septic systems, invisible fences, and private electrical lines.
We are not liable for damage to unmarked private utilities.
3. Heavy Equipment & Land Clearing Disclaimer
Clients acknowledge that land clearing and skid steer operations may cause:

Soil disturbance

Rutting or lawn damage

Surface grading changes
-
Dust and debris
-
Exposure of rocks or roots
These are normal and expected outcomes of mechanical land work and are not considered property damage.
Unless specifically contracted as engineered grading, we do not guarantee drainage performance or prevent future erosion.
4. Fence Installation Notice
Property boundary verification is the sole responsibility of the client. A professional land survey is recommended before installation.
We are not responsible for property disputes, boundary errors, or frost-related movement of posts.
Wood fencing is a natural material and may warp, crack, shrink, or expand due to weather conditions.
5. Payment Terms
Deposits may be required prior to scheduling services. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
Late payments may incur fees permitted under West Virginia law.
We reserve the right to file a mechanic’s lien under WV Code §38-2 in the event of non-payment.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.
We are not responsible for:

Pre-existing conditions

Hidden site conditions
-
Acts of nature
-
Soil settlement
-
Drainage changes not specifically engineered
